The finished piece looks beautiful on a bookshelf or desk, especially with the LED lights on at night. It honestly looks much more expensive than it is. The wood pieces felt sturdy, and everything was packaged well with no missing parts in my kit.

Let me start this off by saying that this is not a puzzle – this is a model. I’ve never built a model before so I was an absolutely beginner. I made this with my 6-year-old daughter and we had so much fun! It has a ton of pieces that you punch out and either snap together or glue together. Glue isn’t included, and I strongly recommend using superglue otherwise you’ll be sitting around forever waiting for it to dry. The material was a really strong cardboard type of material, almost like wood. It feels pretty sturdy after it’s all put together, though I wouldn’t play with it or anything because pieces might fall off. It’s definitely for decoration. All the details are really lovely and it makes a beautiful addition to my bookshelf! Altogether it took us about 10 hours to build. We did it over several days and as I said, we were complete beginners. The directions were easy to follow, though I did struggle a bit with the lighting directions and had to finagle it to work in a different way. It still turned out great though and I love the touch feature to turn it on and off. My daughter and I are excited to get another style to build. This has been a really fun project for us and we really had a great time making this together! It’s worth the price and would make a great gift!
